Boasting apartment accommodation with stunning lake and mountain views, at The Mackenzie Apartments guests can relax in front of their gas fireplace. Free WiFi and a private garage for parking are provided. The location of the property for stargazing was excellent. Given the correct condition, one can walk about 100m behind the property, and you get to see a night sky full of stars, and also the milky way as well. Kitchen was also very well equipped.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean and imma curate. Wish we were staying a few more days ….it was pure luxury……

Matuka Lodge has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Twizel.

Fitted with a patio, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. This Lodge is a true gem! You can tell that the host put love in every detail :) I would highly recommend a stay here if you are looking for a trough and trough luxuries experience!

The tour desk can book helicopter and ski plane flights for those seeking an adventure. You can relax in the guest lounge area which offers a warming fireplace and lovely views from the deck. A communal dining area can be found on site. Clean room, great location. Met many interesting people in the common kitchen/living space. All you need to prepare meals is there.

Peppers Bluewater Resort is a 4.5-star hotel close to the shores of Lake Tekapo. This resort offers luxury accommodation, great views and is ideally positioned for exploring the Mackenzie Basin and Southern Alps. It is a 10-minute walk from the Church of the Good Shepherd. Surprisingly modern. Very clean. Convenient to the lake and shops by foot.

Set within the Burkes Pass gateway to Mackenzie Country, Burkes Pass Country Motels is centrally located for skiing at Mt Dobson and Roundhill and day trips to Mt Cook. Guests enjoy free WiFi and views of the surrounding Rollesby Range and Mt Burgess. Everything was new and clean. Comfortable bed and furniture. Nice to have a full size fridge. We drove 7k to Kimbell and had a wonderful dinner at the Creekside pub. It was fun taking the walking tour around Burkes pass the next morning. An interesting historical place.

Three Rivers Lodge is located off the southern banks of Lake Tekapo, in the shadow of New Zealand’s picturesque Southern Alps. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The room is nice and quite. The view is amazing. Everything is great.
