We didn't pay too much attention when booking this accommodation, as we just wanted a place to rest for a night after the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and before driving to Wellington. What a lovely surprise this place was! I absolutely loved staying here - spacious and clean rooms, a comfortable bed and a covered terrace in front of the apartment. Even though we didn't get to use the kitchen, it was supplied with pretty much all apliences one would need. Some details I appreciated and haven't seen before were the parking spots next to every apartment and the Netflix account the apartment had for guests. The gardens were pretty and well kept. However, I have to admit that what helped tremendously with my experience at the Creel Lodge hotel was the beautiful and incredibly friendly cat that decided to make us his friends and waited for us to wake up the next morning in front of our door.

The location was really great. It was in the city center of Auckland and not far from the sky tower. The staffs were really nice, quick response, and greatly support all requests. The daily cleaning service was also very good.

Guests can enjoy sea views. Mike and Wookie were the perfect hosts with the perfect home! We were so lucky we had the chance to stay with them and only wish we had more time. The space is fabulous, well equipped and very clean. The hot tub with the view made it so memorable. And having morning breakfast with Mike’s delicious food and Wookie keeping us company made us feel at home. If you’re lucky enough to snag an apartment here book it!
