Rebuilt in 2014, Quest on Thorndon offers art deco-style apartments with free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive free access to the CityFitness gym located next to the property.

Quest on Thorndon Apartments are located in the government district of Thorndon, just 2 minutes' walk from Sky Stadium and Central Station. It is one of the closest accommodation options from the Interisland Ferry Terminal, just 2 km away. I got lost because I couldn't use Wi-Fi. Also, the road was under construction, which made it difficult to find my way. There was a laundry in the room which was very helpful. I was happy that the drinks were plentiful.

Arista of Rotorua studios are 20 minutes’ walk from the famous Polynesian Spa. The property features a BBQ area and a pirate ship children’s playground set in lovely gardens. Guests enjoy unlimited WiFi. Most apartments feature a private hot tub and a private patio. The moment you open the door, you will be awed by the layout. Spacious and luxurious indeed. You will have two queen beds and two single beds in a two-floor room. Kids love playing up and down the stairs, and it was undoubtedly the best stay throughout our North Island trip in NZ. The personal spa jacuzzi in the room was another standout feature of this stay. There is also an on-property playground for the kids. The room was clean, comfortable and complete.

Baywaterviews in Paihia provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a terrace. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and luggage storage space. Guests can enjoy sea views. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed our stay here. Mike was a great host and helped us with possible things to do. The private hot tub in the evening was perfect to end the day. Mike also prepared a fresh breakfast for us every morning. The place is just a few minutes by car from shopping/restaurants/beach and amazing nature (and waterfalls).
