You can hear the chirping of birds and have a wonderful morning.

Angela was an amazing host, exceeding expectations and always going the extra mile. She stayed late to make sure our check-in process was seamless and assisted with reservations for the Heli Ride and Quad Biking, as well as providing helpful dining recommendations.

Guests enjoy access to BBQ facilities and a children’s playground. Great place to stay for a visit to Greymouth. Outside it looks like a basic motel, but each room is clean, modern and has an excellent staff supporting it. Our family of four found this space perfect. Parents in the queen room, grandpa and grandson in the 2nd bedroom in twins. Small but useful kitchen, living room well sized and good TV options. Super kindness from the owners, appreciated the fresh milk and the recommendations on places to eat.

Nestled in a garden landscape, Shining Star offers self-contained beachfront chalets with free WiFi and a private balcony just steps from clear blue waters. Providing free parking and featuring beach access. Our accommodation was delightful - one half of a log cabin. The location was ideal, an easy walk into town and right across from the glow worm dell. Although the motel was right on the highway it was very quiet.

A restored miners' hotel, Theatre Royal is 2 minutes' drive from the historic Dillmanstown gold-mining town. It is 14 minutes' drive from Paroa. Greymouth and Hokitika are both within 25 minutes' drive away. The delicious food at the restaurant and the experience of dining in a space that felt almost like living as a local made this the most wonderful feel of our entire trip. I hope to return to this place the next time I visit New Zealand.

BeachView Motel is a 10-minute scenic drive from Greymouth. It is a 20-minute drive up the coastal highway to both Punakaiki Blowholes and Pancake Rocks. Very quiet, clean and cosy. Great view of the west coast.

Backing onto peaceful greenery, 10 Cottages offers self-contained cottages with a balcony, just 2 minutes' walk from the center of Franz Josef Glacier and a 3-minute walk from the Glacier Hot Pools. Free off-street parking and free unlimited WiFi are included. Great hotel, tucked in a quiet street but just a short walk to the main town. Very comfortable stay with all desired amenities. Could park the car right outside the door of the cottage.
