Hotel Los Tambos Boutique is an elegant hotel in Arequipa, a city constructed entirely from white volcanic rock. Great place from which to explore Arequipa and Colca Canyon - great rooftop terrace, lovely breakfast, and very helpful staff who even provided a rake away breakfast when we had an early start for a tour.

Located 300 metres from the main square and Mercaderes street and right behind the Monastery of Santa Catalina (built in 1579), Las Torres de Ugarte offers free Wi-Fi and buffet breakfast in central Arequipa. It combines modern and colonial decor. I stayed at the hotel for two nights, then left for a trek in the Colca Canyon and came back for an additional night. In the interim, I left my backpack at the hotel. When I got back, I was surprised that my backpack was already waiting for me in the room. A clean room, good breakfast, good location, welcoming staff - those are the points I would expect from a good hotel. Personal service, staff who think about the guest - those are the points that make a hotel an excellent hotel. This one is exactly that.

Guests can relax in the garden or in the central courtyard with a stone fountain. Wi-Fi is free. It is a really nice place which looks fantastic. The architecture is phenomenal.

Set in a charming colonial-style building with Spanish galleries, Majestad Boutique Hotel offers nicely decorated rooms with free Wi-Fi just 1 block from picturesque La Merced church. Arequipa's main square is 300 metres away. The place was perfectly located closed to restaurants and to the places you want to visit when in Arequipa. Also the staff was supe friendly and gave me good tips of what to do see and do. The location is just right in the city center basically and close to most everything. Easy for you to get an uber at the hotel. The room was huge and the bathroom was also big.

Basic internet satellite service is available at the front desk. Everything was great, the hotel is beautiful and offers lots of nice activities to enjoy. The breakfast was superb too.

Offering a garden and mountain view, Miskiwasi Bed & Breakfast is located in Yanque, 8 km from Bus Station and 8.2 km from Chivay Arena. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. We had a wonderful time here. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was comparable to some 5-star hotels we have stayed in, just without the bells and whistles. The portable heater worked well and kept us warm. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. They were always warm, polite, and welcoming, with a smile on their faces every time we saw them. The hotel restaurant was excellent, tasty meals at a good price. No need to eat anywhere else. It is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. Would happily stay again. A solid 10 out of 10 from us!

Room service is also available. Suites are beautifully decorated, lots of natural light, very clean and even have heated flooring. Beautiful flower gardens along the pathway between buildings. Gorgeous views of mountains.

Free WiFi is available in public areas. Large historic family compound with 15 - 20 en suite rooms. A 10 to 15 minute walk to the historic sites. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff with Antonio in the lead are excellent.
