This is a family owned hotel but everything’s nice and reliable. I came here for an unexpected stay as my plan had to be altered due to the strike in Cusco city, but I received all good advice from the owner who made my trip easier. This hotel is an absolute gem. I wish I could have stayed longer. The rooms are simply but beautifully appointed with lots of lovely wee touches such as fresh flowers. The restaurant is charming and the food excellent.
If I’d known it was so lovely I would have taken the train straight there after visiting Machu Picchu instead of staying a night in Aguas Calientes.

Beautiful location by the fast flowering river in the Center of the sacred valley. The hotel is set around and ancient hacienda with multiple courtyards, terraces and a museum and cinema. The gardens are perfection, the pool, lakes and island chapel all lovely. The spa is world class and the chef worthy of international recognition. And the staff……. In our experience Peruvians are the warmest and most welcoming of people and it seemed that the best of those traits were in abundance here.
