Set in the medieval Monastery of Nossa Senhora da Esperança, this charming boutique hotel features a restaurant serving traditional dishes from the Castelo Branco district. It is located on the slopes of Esperança Mountains. We loved the location and the landscaping of the grounds. It was lovely to look across the valley at the snow-capped mountains. The old convent was beautifully renovated to a very high quality. Our room was perfect. The dinner we had there was delicious in a beautiful spacious room with fireplace. I wish we could've stayed longer.
