Visiting the Douro region I found the best thing to do is to stay here. You will experience everything Douro region has to offer! Throughout your visit you will experience several tasting of the excellent portwines of the house. And staying there you don’t need to drive anymore. (Large carpark). There is a joint drink followed by a communal dinner. The food is excellent and portwines are used in the food as well. It’s a very nice to socialize with other guests. There is a lovely swimming pool with nice seating area overlooking the wineslopes. Rooms are spotless, very comfortabel and atmospheric. Last but not least: there is a beautiful 2 hour hike from the premises through the winefields with magnificant Douro riverviews from high above! This all makes for an unforgettable experience! The warm welcome set the tone right away — the owner and the entire team were not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely friendly, making us feel welcome. The property itself is peaceful and beautifully maintained, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even the sweet resident dog, Becas, added to the charm. We were surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was fantastic: spacious, beautifully designed and thoughtfully equipped. The food deserves a special mention — every meal we had was outstanding, fresh and full of flavor. The dining experience felt both personal and refined without being pretentious. It’s clear that a lot of care and passion go into the kitchen here. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend Quinta do Bosque to anyone visiting the Douro Valley.

Beautiful setting. Amazing the comfort you can get on a 17th century house. The staff was super kind, helpful and definitely a plus. If coming back to the same area, I would stay here again.
