Das Santa Bárbara Eco-Beach Resort in Ribeira Grande liegt an der Nordküste der Insel São Miguel. Vermutlich die beste Unterkunft, in der wir je waren. Alles perfekt, insbesondere die traumhafte Lage. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen.

Filipe the host was amazing!! So helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing welcome basket and the place was amazingly equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is amazing!! On the water but still close to everything in town. If Im back I’m definitely booking again 🙌🏻

In der Stadt Ponta Delgada an der Südküste der Insel São Miguel bietet das CASA DA ILHA - Slow Living Residence & Suites eine erstklassige Lage am Meer. My stay was excellent! The rooms were extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff provided outstanding service — a special thanks to Jessica and Susana for being so kind and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with great variety and delicious options. Highly recommended!

Das 4-Sterne-Hotel Octant Furnas befindet sich auf der Insel São Miguel im Tal Vale das Furnas, dem Ort mit der größten Dichte von Thermalwasser in Europa. Freundliches, zuvorkommendes, hilfsbereites Personal Thermalschwimmbad Frühstücksbuffet,das keine Wünsche offen lässt

Im Herzen von Ponta Delgada bietet dieses Hotel eine Dachterrasse mit Panoramablick auf den Atlantik, die Berge und die Stadt. Den Yachthafen erreichen Sie nach 500 m. Wirklich sehr gute Lage! Parkplatz ist auch dabei! Ideal die in Innenstadt mögen! Ist mit zu Fuß alles erreichbar! Sauber. Frühstück war ok! Immer frische Obst und Brötchen, Kuchen!

Das MS Vila Nova erwartet Sie in zentraler Lage in Ponta Delgada, nur 1 km vom Kloster Convento da Esperança entfernt. Zu diesem Hotel gehört ein Außenpool. The location was perfect, in walking distance from the airport, which can be felt througout the stay as you could frequently see airplanes landing or taking off but due to the soundproof windows this is not as bothersome (it was kind of cool actually). The swimming pool was nice! (we also had one plane fly directly above us as we swam) - there are like 10 flights a day and only during the day, being a city airport, there are no flights during the night - so you don't have to fear that a plane will wake you up mid-night. The swimming pool was rarely occupied (we were staying mid-may) the initial dip was a bit cold but it got better fast enough. The staff was super nice, especially the bartender we met on our arrival. The room was nice and clean, with water and capsule coffee being refreshed daily (a regular and a decaf per person per day), the breakfast buffet had a wide enough selection so we could mix up our breakfast across our stay (and always it was nice). All in all a perfect stay, I can definitely recommend this hotel. 😊 PS: the maracuja Kima is a must try! (available at the bar)

Die Azorean Urban Lodge begrüßt Sie in einem renovierten, 100 Jahre alten Gebäude mit einer magischen Terrasse, auf der Sie Esstische und ein Außenpool erwarten. WLAN nutzen Sie hier kostenfrei. This place was perfect to stay the first few nights in Sao Miguel. It had everything you need- comfy bed, separate bathroom and a equipped kitchen. I stayed in a single room the first night and then my friends and I shared a room with three single beds and attached bathroom. Parking can be tricky- the streets are narrow but we did not have any problems finding spots near the lodge. Also, you will hear planes overhead- this is close to the airport so it makes it convenient in that way but if you don't want that noise, you will want to stay farther away from the airport.

Das Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo bietet eine natürliche Umgebung mit Geschichte, Kunst und Meerblick. Wunderschöne Unterkunft im Grünen mit einem wunderschönen grossen Garten mit Pool, Liegestühlen etc. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben viele tolle Tipps für die Insel erhalten. Besonders über das sehr leckere Frühstück haben wir uns jeden Tag sehr gefreut :) die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen, es gibt viele leckere Restaurants in der Nähe und die Sehenswürdigkeiten der ganzen Insel sind schnell erreichbar.
