Situated only 350 metres from one of Chiang Mai's top attractions Saturday Walking Street, Wualai Sabaidee offers traditional Lanna-style rooms and free WiFi access in all areas. The property also provides free uses of bicycles. On arrival at this quiet haven with a lush garden we were greeted by the softly spoken kindly manager and our luggage was quickly tended to. Everything about the place was explained, including the free breakfast, coffee and wifi password. Everything worked, the staff were smiley and interested in what we were doing next without being intrusive. It's conveniently placed next to great coffee shops and is accessible to the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was an air of generosity, easy access and a modern, yet traditional feel. Amazing value, we will return.

I loved the authentic feel of the place and that the staff got to know us so quickly, and they were super helpful. After moving around a lot and staying in more expensive places I really appreciated the quietest air con so far! Great value for money.

The accommodation is a 15-minute drive from Chiang Mai International Airport. It is one of the best hotels I have ever been to. It is not about the stars; it is about the value of what you get. I must say the staff who work here are truly helpful and very attentive. I have some pictures I would love to share with you. The owner gave me mosquito spray because they took it at the airport. The other day, some of the friendly staff brought me a small cake to accompany my coffee after lunch because she knew I loved it from the breakfast they provide, which by the way is amazing and is included. These and many other thoughtful details with no charge were part of my stay at this hotel. The location is outside the old city and works perfectly for someone like me who wants peace and wakes up in what I called the treehouse, as my room was right at the top of a tree where I could see squirrels jumping, birds singing, and in the distance, I could see the mountains, temples, and the city. Congratulations to the entire BED group; it is a minimalist, clean, beautiful, and welcoming style.

The property is equipped with laundry service and free public parking on site. We rented the 3-bedroom villa -- great space for large family! Three bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, two large beds in one bedroom for parents/smaller children. Parking space included, which is a MUST for Old Town. Comfortable beds, A/C in common space and each bedroom. Plenty of drinking water provided. Great location for walking around Old Town -- countless shops, restaurants, temples nearby. 7-11 close buy for drinks/snacks.
