My partner and I had the time of our lives. We did not want to leave. On day one we decided we will certainly be back again. What a lovely place and the service was exceptional. Everything was great as as others have said. But I want to point out to potential future guests how perfectly orientated this property is. Because it faces north it gets the best of the sun during the day without blinding sunsets, so you really can enjoy the view all day long. Plus it is well protected from the infamous Cape southeaster wind. The proximity of a rocky outcrop provides the added visual interest of waves breaking and birds gathering. There is direct access to the lovely shoreline path with its local flora (some with nicely annotated name tags) and birdlife. Apart from the marine animals (seals, dolphins) and birds (including the distinctive African Black Oystercatcher, of course) we were delighted by an apparently semi-resident tortoise and visits by guinea fowl and a steenbok.
