The apartment is perfect for a family, with all the equipment for cooking and cleaning, even videogames! It is inside the gasometer, so there are shops inside the building, like supermarket, restaurants and basic stuff. It is also connected to an entertainment centre, our daughters loved playing bowling after a day walking around Vienna. Although it is not so close to the city, it is connected by metro, so a very easy 15 minutes ride and the metro is only like a minute walk. We will definitely come back to this apartment next time we are in Vienna!

We liked everything. Radio in the bathroom is cool. Slanted ceiling with windows, just like at parents home, lots of natural light. Cozy, warm and welcoming.

This is authentic, unusual place to stay, it’s like visiting your grandparents :). The building itself is beautiful, goes back to 19 century, ceiling in the apartment is at least 4 m high. Rooms are spacious, kitchen is equipped with everything you would need for long stay. The bed is comfy and location is convient to get to the city center and any sightseeing places. Martin, the owner, is available to provide any information. I’d come back with pleasure.

The apartment was clean, bright and spacious with a very well-equipped kitchen. It is very convenient to public transport with the tram stopping just outside the door and the metro station across the road, so is perfect for visiting the various attractions. We took the airport train to and from Geiselbergstrasse Station which is within a short walk of the apartment. We would have no hesitation in staying at URBM rise again!

We had such a wonderful stay at Plaza Inn Gasometer. While it is away from the main tourist sites, it is a short walk from the metro/U-bahn, making it easy to reach them. A similar hotel closer to the center would be more expensive. We requested a room with an extra bed for our child, and to our surprise, we got a family room, with a two-bed room entirely for himself. The hotel is eco-friendly, so cleaning happens at request by hanging a sign on the door knob. Breakfast deserves an entire chapter. For a start, the staff is very friendly, there are several types of food and drinks and it perfectly served my gluten and dairy free restrictions. Bread and scrambled eggs without milk were brought upon request, and they have a separate coffee machine with vegan "milk". We would definitely stay here again.
