The location was excellent, right across from the harbour, close to good restaurants, grocery store, museum and gasoline. It also had underground parking which was very convenient. The room was spacious and room for opening up luggage easily.

The building has been newly renovated, so our 4 nights there were extremely enjoyable. The rooms are well equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee every morning. The other guests are quiet and respectful. Also, the view of the harbor from our room was amazing! A great grocery store (The Hill) and good bars/restaurants are within walking distance. We had a car, and the car park was easy to access ($40/day for parking).
I would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights in this beautiful property - the history just adds to the charm. The views of the harbour and Mt. Wellington in the distance are just the perfect sights to wake up to. The staff is exceptional. A special mention of Tim and Monica who made sure our tour bookings were the best options that worked for us and answered any and all questions we had about beautiful Hobart. The rooms themselves are well-appointed, quirky, comfortable, and just easy to relax in. We needed to keep our bags at the property after checkout for many hours as we had tours planned and the hotel did not hesitate to accommodate us.
