Loved the nature and the people here! This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Located right on top of the Morro, it offers stunning views and a peaceful connection to nature. The host, Bento, is an incredibly sweet and caring person who really makes you feel at home. During my stay, he even rescued a bird, and it became super friendly with everyone, it was such a heart-warming experience! The communal areas are fantastic, always clean, and well-maintained. There’s a real sense of respect among guests, and everyone contributes to making it a comfortable, harmonious space. The hostel strikes a perfect balance between being social and offering a relaxing environment, whether you’re looking to meet people or unwind, it works for both.

Its an amazing place. The volunteers really make you feel at home and the hostel has a community feeling. A lot of digital nomads so a lot of people stay around the hostel which makes it cosy. Especially Hernando from Mexico really made my experience, with his smile and jokes. Some might say he is to good to be true...

This was like a home away from home. Just amazing! I was looking for a chilled place by the beach that wasn’t a party hostel where I could just have beach time and cook etc. Patz Houz exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived I was met but 4 lovely doggies coming to say hello and the friendly faces of the staff. I loved the vibe of the house immediately. It was always kept clean and tidy and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. The house was a 5-10min walk to the lovely beach and also touristy streets which were full of clothes shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The hostel also put on a delicious BBQ for us as while I was there as well as Pat kindly taking us all on a full moon walk which was beautiful at the top of one of the view points in the town. The room I was in only slept 4 and the bed was super comfy, bathroom was great too. You were able to use the washing machine for a small fee. Breakfast each morning was yummy with a good selection. What I also liked about the house/hostel is that there are only a small number of private rooms and shared rooms, this kept the house intimate and you never felt you were getting on top of each other. The spaces in the house were lovely to chill in and I personally enjoyed sitting up on the top deck of the house. WiFi was strong. I loved my stay so much I extended from 3 nights to a week. All in all one of the BEST hostels I’ve stayed in across my last 4 months of travel. I massively encourage you to stay if a relaxed vibe is what you are seeking. Thanks to Pat and the lovely staff for making my stay such a fabulous one and I wish you all the very best!

It was such a lovely stay. We had to extend our stay for 3 more days!! Lucas and Carol were so lovely, always willing to help and give advice and suggestions. It was a super chill vibe and really nice environment. Being by the water was also such a lovely feel. Facilities were always clean and cleaned daily. The kitchen was also handy to have. And the hammocks, heaven. We just left and already want to come back!
