Hostel do Morro was a fantastic place to stay. A distinct jungle treehouse feel with the best views I've seen in Florianopolis. Hostel staff made me feel very welcome, even though I don't speak Portuguese or Spanish. The hostel was very clean.

Great place if you need to do some work but also want to enjoy the beautiful area around Floripa. The hostel is very safe and has lockers for you to put your laptop away. The wifi is great, I didn't have one single outing and there is plenty of space to spread out. The people are all super friendly and the dorms are a good size (4 instead of like 8+). There is a well stocked supermarket nearby and there are some very nice restaurants at walking distance. The beach is an 8 minute uber ride and yes they do pick you up from there!
