Outstanding family pousada. The service was phenomenal and we felt very welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was great and the service at the reception was very friendly. The hosts were so kind to make us a cup of coffee when we asked where to buy one. The little monkey in the backyard was adorable. We definitely recommend staying here.

The hosts hospitality truly set the tone for our stay. One of the highlights of our experience was the breakfast. The villas offer a fantastic array of options. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring.The swimming pool was another standout feature. I spent several afternoons lounging by the pool working, enjoying the serene atmosphere of wildlife and animals. The villas are located near a variety of outdoor activities. From beaches to local attractions, there was no shortage of things to do. The hosts were incredibly helpful in providing recommendations and organizing boat explorations, ensuring we made the most of our time in the area. We look forward to returning!

What can I say apart from Amazing! We arrived at Pousada Sambaki after leaving a nearby hotel early as it wasn’t satisfactory. How happy and lucky we were to arrive at this oasis in the Costa Verde coast. Pousada Sambaki’s location outside of Paraty, by a beach and just a 25 min walk away from the town, was perfect. It gave us the peace and quiet we wanted, plus space for a gorgeous pool on our budget, amazing sea views, and everything else you could want. We were happy walking into town and getting taxis but others may want to consider renting a car if they don’t like a stroll. Big shout out to the incredible breakfast everyday - they were the best experienced on our trip of Latin America! All the people at Sambaki were amazing too. Charles and Jonas were so friendly and helpful and it felt like a home away from home. Also, Paraty is the most stunning place and a perfect base to explore the wider Costa Verde and its incredible beaches and wildlife. We loved every minute - thank you to everyone! We’ll be back, or send friends and family in our place!
