I LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff! They are the frendliest people I have ever met. We came there with our 10 month old baby and they upgraded the room for us, to make sure that the noise from the bar wouldn't wake him up. And it did not, in fact, this was the best he ever slept. Sure you can hear people at the bar, but that doesn't bother us and besides, it gets quiet after 11 pm. The hostel is super nice and clean, the location is great and in a cool neighbourhood. I hope we'll have a chance to come back again!

Casa Savana is very well located, in a quiet street but only around the corner from the main busy streets. Close to the subway and, if you like walking, many areas of interest are walkable. Jessica was very helpful when she took the time to assist me sort out my lost luggage from the airline. I did not speak Portuguese so this was great! The other staff were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, with a comfy bed. The cleanliness of the rooms and kitchen areas was exceptional. The room I had was very quiet. The kitchen area has self serve foods for breakfast and snacks available for throughout the day. Very good value for money. I would highly recommend Casa Savana and I would definitely stay here again.

Great place, everything was fine. No complaints about the apartment. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed but the weather was cold anyway.

Location is great, the room is very spacious with a nice big window as a view. The bed was comfy and we had a good kitchen to use.
