Great location, friendly staff, awesome breakfast. I also loved that the hotel gave us a card that we could use for free local transport. The breakfast was wonderful with many options - eggs, various meats and local cheeses, salad ingredients with their homemade dressing, local baked goods and a waffle station. We really enjoyed our stay! There’s even a sauna you can reserve.

Amazing experience. I stayed here for three nights in a room for six. Hostel, surprisingly a large building, is located in old and peaceful part of Basel. It's within short walking distance to Rhein river, Munster cathedral and Kunstmuseum tram station. I was given Basel Card at the reception which granted me free access to public transport and 50% discount to all museums. I really liked my room and my bed and I didn't mind the fact there were no curtains. Design of the room is really smart, as personal lockers and sink are separated from the beds/sleeping area with a wooden doors, thus keeping the noise at minimum. To add up, no check-ins are possible after 23:30 which allows you to sleep tight. Toilets and washrooms are on the same floor, just outside of the room in the hall. Breakfast starts at 6.00 am which I found really handy as I checked out early for my flight. Staff was really professional. You can also buy souvenirs at the reception and umbrella as well. I will definitely book again when I come back to Basel. Thank you, Hostel!

The apartment included a kitchen, laundry facilities and was light filled. It was on the 6th floor with an outdoor terrace. It had a large lift and it was in a secure building. The street had lots of restaurants, clothing shops and close to the trams. The location was central and it was easy to walk to places or take a tram. The host was very helpful and could be contacted if you needed any assistance. We would definitely stay there again.
