The hotel is very beautiful, with a warm and welcoming feel. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff at the hotel were also very kind and helpful, always ready to answer our questions , accomodate our requests and give us precious advice. The hotel is in the center of the city, so it was easy to reach many local attractions, restaurants, and shops. We could easily explore the area on foot or by subway and enjoy all that Lausanne has to offer. Overall, our stay at the Lausanne Palace was a wonderful experience. The beautiful hotel, spacious, comfortable and clean room, friendly staff, and perfect location made the trip very enjoyable. We can't wait to come back!

This is an excellent hotel not very far from Lausanne's main train station but on a pedestrian road so you don't really notice you are 2 minutes to the station. The hotel gave us a modern and spacious bedroom and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was nice. The hotel has 2 restaurants (Italian and Thai) so you can eat there if it is raining outside (as it did quite a few times during our stay :( The staff at the hotel are very polite and they always welcome you with a smile (especially David).

The Hotel Continental was originally built for the 1964 Swiss National Exhibition in Lausanne and was recently refurbished, modernized and enlarged.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of my stay was undeniably the exceptional staff. Bochra and Aiguerim went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my time there. Upon arrival, they generously upgraded my room to accommodate my request for a peaceful environment, and it made all the difference. Additionally, despite my early arrival at around Ten in the morning, they kindly facilitated an early check-in at no extra cost, understanding my exhaustion from a long train journey. Their thoughtfulness and dedication truly exemplify the quality of service at this establishment. Aside from the outstanding staff, the hotel's prime location, right next to Lausanne Central Station and with a bus stop nearby, made getting around a piece of cake. Overall, while the hotel itself offers a pleasant experience, it is truly the exceptional staff that sets it apart.
