The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with a full-size bathroom and high-quality touches like goose feather bedding, soft towels, and convenient amenities such as a coffee machine and yoga mat. It was quiet, cozy, and perfect for a longer stay. The breakfast buffet offered fresh, high-quality options, including locally sourced products. We appreciated the efficient service during busy moments and the all-day refreshment corner with complimentary drinks and snacks. The location was convenient, with easy tram access to the airport and city center, and the peaceful residential setting made it a serene retreat. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional, enhancing the overall experience. Sorell Hotel Rex is inspired by Susanna Orelli, a pioneer in women’s entrepreneurship and a supporter of the Zurich community. We stayed in Zürich in this cute apartment for 5 days with my mom, and we couldn’t be more glad about it. 😍 The room had a nice design, which gave our stay a cozy vibe. The beds were comfy, and you could also watch TV with several channels. The kitchen had literally everything - from various dishes and cutlery to different types of spices, tea, and even a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules! The bathroom was small, but it was totally fine for us. 🥰 The owners were checking in on us via the Booking app, and they were helpful and friendly. ☺️ One of the other advantages was tram No. 10, which was just a 3-minute walk away. You could take it straight from the airport and also to the city center! 🤩

Everything was as expected. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a shared toilet which was also kept clean. A towel was provided upon request. The area is also nice and easy to get to. Check in was very easy. One can pay by card or cash, I payed by card upon arrival. Smooth check out. I recommend this for solo travellers but it’s not a place for people who are looking for luxury. However it was more than enough for me and would definitely be back if I find myself in Zurich again.
