Extremely satisfied! The boss even upgraded our room type, and we could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the room! The inn is perfectly located, making it convenient for both taking taxis and exploring the ancient city. When we had free time, we could chat and have tea with the boss 😎. The inn is very distinctive. The exterior features a traditional Chinese style, making it feel like entering the Mu Family Mansion. The rooms are modern, equipped with all kinds of smart devices, and extremely comfortable 😸. If we visit Lijiang again, we will definitely book this inn again!

The location was awesome, but you couldn't get there by car. It's OK the hotel owner met us at the road entrance and helped carry our luggage in.

"A Hidden Gem in Lijiang Ancient Town" I'm still reeling from my incredible stay at Sky Cloud Hotel! Tucked away in a quaint little alley of Dayan Flower Lane, this charming hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! "Excellent Location" The hotel's location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling ancient town. I appreciated the undisturbed rest, yet enjoyed easy access to food, coffee, attractions, and shopping. "Warm Hospitality" The owner and staff members were exceptionally warm, kind, and responsive to my needs. From arranging a private airport transfer to carrying my luggage to my room, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. "Comfortable and Charming Rooms" My Queen Room with Terrace was a serene oasis, complete with a charming outdoor pool and a secluded garden perfect for workouts or relaxation. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept more soundly than I have in months! "Amenities and Services" I appreciated the complimentary Chinese Tea Appreciation session, which was a lovely welcome ritual. The staff kept me connected via WeChat, responding promptly to my queries and requests all through my stay. "A Captivating Retreat" Sky Cloud Hotel is a true gem in Lijiang Ancient Town. The room was pretty, clean and cosy. It was well located in the heart of the old city, meaning it was easy to explore the core living here. Access to food is available well into the late evening, and the food is great! I would recommend seeking help from the property if you are carrying or pushing luggage, as the rustic charm comes with cobblestones. For us everything was on backpack, so it was not an issue. In my opinion, the highlight was the responsive staff, Max and his colleague. They replied promptly, cared about your safety, and can be trusted to manage your itinerary from a local’s standpoint. They were able to engage a driver at a good price to bring us to a day hike to Hutiaoxia and come back to Lijiang, circumventing the need for an overnight hike. Overall, I would return again, and I think they will ensure that you are well taken care of.

One of the best hotels I have been. There were separate big bedroom with nice bathtub. The living room was also very cozy and useful. Nice interior design that was relaxing and pleasing for the eye.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and I want to give a special thank you to our butler, Amber. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Amber was always kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful — especially when it came to organizing our trip to Snow Mountain. Thanks to her, everything went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Another highlight of our stay was the breathtaking view of the Old Town from our room. Watching the rooftops and lanterns light up at night was absolutely magical — it truly added something special to the entire experience. If you're staying here, you're in great hands — and if you're lucky enough to have Amber looking after you, your experience will be even more special.

Our stay in Lijiang was truly wonderful, thanks to this lovely hotel. The room was clean, spacious, cozy yet modern — a perfect blend of comfort and style. From the moment before we arrived, the owner’s kindness stood out.
