This hotel was the best! It had a mini fridge, curtains you could control with buttons (and maybe words but we don’t speak Mandarin so we couldn’t figure this out) and a toilet with a remote control. The decor was very nice, the bed super comfy, and the staff were so helpful and welcoming. There was a free laundry service and we had the breakfast one day which was also good. The hotel is also in walking distance from West Lake, and has a shop across the street.

Location was super convenient. Cleanliness to me is very important and this hotel despite of its age has fully met our expectation. Kudos to the housekeeping team! Staff from concierge such as Tim, Zhang Shifu, Lee Shifu & others were super helpful as i was travelling with an elderly. All of them have ensured that our trip was smooth & easy. I will surely come back again during my next Hangzhou trip! Thank you Sofitel team!
