Superb location. Few minutes walking distance to the Nanjing Road East St. and 10-15 min walk to either The Bund or People Square.
Very friendly staff, very accommodating, and eager to help.
Space is tight but manageable for a few days if you book the two bunk-bed room with private bathroom and windows.
The room had clever storage solutions and plenty of sockets to plug in your devices.
I loved my stay at the hostel. Would highly recommend it if you are on a budget and don't require a lot of amenities from a proper hotel. Great value for money!!

We stayed at this hotel during a business trip for 5 days in November 2025. It is in a nice location opposite the Yuyuan Garden and just 15 minutes walking from Nanjing pedestrian road and the Bund.The metro station it’s just across the hotel.It is a modern hotel with spacious rooms and very clean. The breakfast has many choices and good quality. The staff is friendly and very helpful.Especially thanks to the ladies at the front desk Ms Susan Hu and Ms Annie Huang who were very helpful with any need we wanted! Lucky we had them to help us!!
Definitely we will stay there at our next trip to Shanghai.

Location is great, it was right in the city and a couple of blocks away from Nanjing Road. The appartment located above many local restaurants which we really enjoyed. We tried most of the restautants and all of them was good and authentic with reasonable price. The appartment layout was good and spacious. The staff was very helpful, i left my phone charger when check out, but Lemon was so kind to post the charger to another hotel we stayed in a different town.

Exceptional service! The reception staff is very kind and professional. The breakfast is excellent. Plus the hotel offers free laundry facilities, which came in very handy for us. The hotel is close to the Bund and is on a street with charming local vibe. Highly recommended.
