Location of this hotel is good. Best place for city center travelling. Most of interesting places is near by. We are walking and feel happy, that we no need to lose a lot time for using car. We are using only for Global Xian traveling places, it OUT of XIAN. Yes, is comfortable. Location/Price very good.

Location: Perfect! Centrally located with short distances to sights, restaurants and public transport. Staff: Outstandingly friendly and courteous. Everyone was always helpful and provided a personalized experience. Mr. Ma, concierge, organized an excellent guided tour to the Terracotta Warriors. Room/Comfort: Very clean, modern and high quality. Bar/Lounge (Atmosphere, Drinks/Snacks and Service): Excellent. Value for money: Absolutely fair for this quality. The Grand Hyatt, the name alone promised grandeur, and it delivered in every way. Stepping into the foyer felt like entering a modern palace. Golden wooden beams rose elegantly toward floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with light. The design balanced traditional Chinese motifs with a hint of contemporary flair.
Our suite carried the same sense of indulgence. Spacious and serene, it came with a powder room, a rain shower room, and yet another bathroom featuring a bathtub so deep it felt more like a private onsen. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Xi’an skyline, and the room itself exuded calm luxury.
That evening, we dined at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. Every dish felt like a celebration. The abalone was delicate and rich, the fiery Sichuan-style beef casserole set our taste buds dancing, and the dim sum—bite-sized parcels of flavour—were a revelation. By the time I ended the night with a spa treatment, I felt blissfully pampered, refreshed, and ready for the final chapter of our holiday.
I would recommend the Grand Hyatt to all my friends and family ❤️

*Staff is very welcoming. Especially Moon Yang at the reception, very professional and helpful on our arrival, she assisted us kindly when we needed to find a drugstore and proposed to help on every situation. We also highly appreciated Elisa Ma, at Ambrosia, her kindness during our breakfast time.
*The water refill at Canopy is INCREDIBLE! Unlike the other hotels of this level, especially those in the U.S, we had almost 12 bottled water everyday, without even asking.

We stayed at Fairway Place in Xi’An for five nights. The room was spacious, very clean, with in-room washer and dryer (which was the reason we chose it on the first place). Breakfast was excellent with Chinese and Western choices. Staff was superb, especially in the breakfast area, always eager to help and spoke good English. Highly recommended.
