We loved the atmosphere in the hotel. Very friendly staff, serene space and always the possibility to make us a meal and help us. We loved the swimming pool and the kids enjoyed pooling and table tennis. We used their bikes and two of us went out with the scooter. We had a great spacious room with a nice balcony. It was only 40 meters to the Li river where we enjoyed the light show from that point of view. It's a quiet place with not much traffic around and a nice mountain to climb. By the way we were very happy that the hotel offered to pick us up from Yangshuo train station and bring us back there. It was a great ride and it saved us a lot of hassle. Thank you all at the snow lion mountain resort

Amazing experience! Room was spacious while still feeling cozy, and outfitted with great decor. Our host was phenomenal, going to the lengths of organising mopeds for us to use around the town, delivering coffee to our room, and giving us discounts on local attractions, not to mention organised transport to and from the train station. Included breakfast was yummy and varied daily. Overall 10/10 hotel.

excellent hotel - rooms were spacious, facilities were new/well-maintained, food was solid (they have yangshuo local foods too), the lobby staff were very helpful and friendly (special shout out to Sarah!). the hotel also includes complimentary (1) 2 free drinks, (2) photoshoot - 5 photos free, the rest were RMB 80 per photo, (3) hotel tour. Sugarhouse also has several fun activities to choose from such as rock climbing (in the hotel premise), syrup making, candle making - making the stay super special!

Owner helped us with everything. She arranged us a transfter to her hotel and to our next hotel for a good price. She let us rent a scooter for a day and advised us where to go to get the best views. Even though the hostel is meant for climbers, we had a great time there.

Incredible panoramic views, perfect location and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very large and had a huge panoramic window with a beautiful view of the mountains, it was so fantastic! The location is about 15-20 minutes from the city center by taxi (I would not recommend walking), but taxis (at least if you use the app) are cheap and the city was not our goal. Our goal was a 10 minute walk from the hotel through beautiful places: the station where the bamboo rafting starts and the rice fields you need to cross to get to the station. The sink is outside the bathroom (i.e. in the room), I find this convenient because you have access to it when the bathroom is occupied.

Surrounded amidst impressive Karst mountains, Yangshuo Mountain Retreat is located at the edge of Yulong River. Free WiFi access is available. Free parking space is offered.

For those who love scenery, this is the place for u. Love the beautiful mountains landscapes, staffs are very eager to help and friendly and good food. The outdoor seating will be best during cool season.
