Would give 11/10 if I could! Special thanks to Sonny and his wife who were lovely. The hostel was kind of empty due to off-season so I was upgraded to a private room free of charge. When I woke up late, I still got my breakfast and all the tickets were booked through by Sonny, super convenient! He also invited me to dinner one night, which was a great experience 😊

All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Kang, who assisted us from the moment we arrived. She helped us with ticket purchases, transportation, and planning our routes to both the National Forest Park and Tianmen Mountain.
Communication through WeChat was super smooth — they helped us with absolutely everything! They speak English, and when translation is needed, they always have the best attitude.
The kitchen staff was also wonderful, always attentive and making sure we had everything we needed.
Plus, the location is perfect, very central and convenient for getting around.
I definitely recommend this hotel 1000% — truly an outstanding experience!

We had a really great time at this hotel! We received all the relevant information in advance from Carol and she was always available when we needed her help or had some questions. She even booked the tickets for the park late at night for us since we arrived in the evening. The room was big, clean and comfortable. It was really quiet at night and we could rest perfectly. The hotel stuff was so friendly and helpful as well. The entrance to the park is really close (approx. 5 min walking distance) and there are a lot of restaurants in the area. I can highly recommend this hotel if you want to visit the park!

It was like visiting your distant relatives. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I've never had such an experience even though i regularly travel. The owner kindly showed me the routes in the park. When i had questions, she answered me on wechat. I'd strongly recommend to stay here

Our stay at No.5 Valley Lodge was excellent! The staff was amazing – especially Rain, who was incredibly helpful and always available when we needed something.
