Very comfortable accomodation in Barrio Escalante, within 5 minute walk of many bars and restaurants. The building has a lovely terrace at the upper floor with wonderful view of San Jose. The room was nice, clean, well equipped. We were really happy there.

Nice new clean unit with new appliances and a comfortable bed. Clean and a good bathroom with good facilities. The complex has nice amenities on the roof floor. Reception is always manned for security.

Really great location. Supermarket, great restaurants and bars are all extremely close. Easy to get into the city center.
The flat is very clean, modern and well equipped. bed was comfortable and there was plenty of linen and towels. Great view from the balcony. The pool upstairs and the amenities were outstanding. The staff were great and always available to help.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Escalante during my time in San José. The hotel is perfectly located, just a short walk from one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods. It's close enough to enjoy the energy but far enough to avoid the hassle. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the peace and quiet.
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They were able to assist me with anything I needed, including extending my stay on short notice. Although I wasn’t feeling well and unfortunately missed the breakfast, I truly appreciated the thoughtful service.
The highlight of my stay was the room itself, which had a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Casa Escalante offers great value for money. I felt right at home and will certainly return the next time I'm in San José!

A large room with huge balcony was located on the second floor. The massive walk in shower and room was appointed well and very comfortable. The large .nature trees and central garden made this an oasis in the city.
We loved the location within seconds of 100's of fun and tasty restaurants
