This is a really classically styled traditional hotel. It’s really clean, and they clearly keep well on top of maintenance here. The room was quiet and peaceful, the bed was comfortable and I got a great nights sleep. The staff were brilliantly kind. I had asked in advance to store a bicycle, and this was remembered when I checked in and it was well accommodated.
The breakfast was lovely, with a good selection which I enjoyed. It’s really hard to find a fault here - it was great.

Super easy check--in and a fabulous host. Just a short walk into town where there are plenty of lovely little pubs and restaurants. Fabulous breakfast with a lot of choice and regular refills. Would definitely recommend.

I was very satisfied with this small hotel. Comfortable, clean room, nice breakfast room and restaurant, very good breakfast, delicious dinner, friendly and helpful staff. I have already booked my next stay in this landhaus. 😉

We loved the fact that the house has bene renovated in a very thoughtful way: you have the feeling of being in a Grimm brothers´ fairy tale, but everything is at the same time very well thought through, clean and efficient: bathroom, plugs, check in system. The place is extremely clean, staff friendly and bed very comfortable!

A throwback to better times. Reassuringly old-fashioned and lacking in glitz. Impeccable service from well-educated and pleasant staff who genuinely seem to care about guest comfort. Lovely grounds for the dog even though we stayed in January. Outstanding breakfast. Extremely comfortable bed and modern bathroom, some areas and furnishing are - old fashioned - so might not appeal to others as much as it did to me! I look forward to my next visit.
