Absolutely loved Hausdeich. The apartment was even better than we expected. Such a gorgeous environment to stay in. The village surrounds were beautiful, and the buses just a minute up the road made it easy to get around. We visited Neuengamme, as well as Molinas Cafe (windmill cafe) and easily accessed Bergedorf and Hamburg for day trips. So nice to be staying outside the large cities, yesterday still super convenient. I was also studying, so the wifi connection was important - and wifi worked well for us. The best bit was the owner was wonderfully welcoming, and even gave us tips of which buses to take, and cafes and walks around the local area. We had a really great visit,and I'd absolutely recommend this place to visit.

All the guest rooms are on the second and third floors, so you can enjoy a fantastic view. The station is really close, so it’s easy to get anywhere you want to go. Housekeeping tidies the rooms every day. Spacious and very comfortable, the bathroom is a pleasure to use. Water pressure and temperature are just right. Wi-Fi works perfectly. Big, soft, and spotless, the bed ensured a restful night; no bugs or dust in sight. A built-in HDMI port on the TV let me plug in my laptop and use the screen as a monitor—no point watching German-language channels I wouldn’t understand anyway.

Very nice family owned, I presume, hotel in Bergedorf. A big comfortable bed in a nice designed clean room. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants and feels safe. A good and affordable breakfast for only 10 euro. Definitely worth the money.

Hotel staff where friendly, spoke good English (an important point for international travel) and have helped and guided me on using the German rail service. The hotel has ample parking and is situated in a quite area of Hamburg which added to the relaxing experience. The wifi was at a reasonable speed and had good reception all over.
