Lady at the Reception was really service-oriented and exceeded my expectations. My bed was very comfortable. Overall room design was very practical and had everything you might need. Hotel is really close to the train station Hammerbrook (City Süd).

Newly renovated in 2018, the Mercure Hotel Hamburg City is close to centrally located attractions such as the Speicherstadt, Mehr! Theater, city centre and main train station.

Quite a basic room to sleep in, not so much to spend time there. Good soundproofing, quiet room. Staff was very friendly. Trains and buses stop nearby.

A very nice hotel, close to the center, very clean. You have underground parking, and you can check-in late at night. Breakfast is very tasty and varied. The hotel staff is friendly and ready to help you. It is a very good place to start a day in Hamburg.

The customer service from the staff was excellent and the bed is extremely comfortable. The lift was out during my stay, so they upgraded my room, which was really nice of them. It's only a short walk from Berliner Tor train station, which is on the same line to get to the airport. It's about 20 mins walk from the city centre.

Great price/performance. Although the location is not entirely central, it is close to the train and there is a bus stop right next to the building so it is easy to go anywhere. Shops, some fast food places and a gas station are in the near vicinity. The apartment was clean, warm and nice, and had everything necessary. Communication was easy.
