My spouse and I travelled to Ecuador for the first time and this hotel gave us a perfect landing point for Quito and the start of our trip. The hotel is in a good, quiet location in the Centro Historico.
The rooms are comfortable, with internet and hot water working all the time. Breakfast was tasty and different every day.
Still, for us the best thing was the helpfulness of Hernan and Gloria who run the hotel. Hernan's walking tour of the centre was very nice and he organised many things for us, including a day trip to Cotopaxi at very short notice.
We will be back again and would recommend to others.

Stunning building, beautiful decor, lots of steps and on a steep hill with great, really great views
Dinner was great too, but not enough staff to assist the chef with serving great meals and serving drinks.
Close to old town, but quiet and driving there is an experience on its own. Do try once to walk back up to the hotel!
Highly recommend and we would book again!
