The hotel is situated on upper floors of an old building, it has had extensive renovations, the rooms are lovely but the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially Moataz on reception, he called ubers for me, helped with language difficulties. I cannot speak more highly of his great skills. The breakfast was super good, ample food and varied with choices. Zamalek is easy to walk.

Gorgeous interior of a converted castle. The view from the balcony off our room was lovely. Clean elegant linen, comfortable bed and interestingly renovated bathroom. Friendly and obliging staff. Favourite accomodation in Egypt so far.

We had a very nice stay here for several days. The flat is beautifully furnished in quite an arty, bohemian style. It was clean and had everything we needed for our visit. We felt safe and secure throughout. The owner was helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. The flat was a relaxing place to return to after sightseeing. Zamalek is a pleasant, leafy part of Cairo with lots of nice shops and cafes. You can walk around easily without any hassle making this a perfect place to stay as a tourist. Anywhere in the city is easily accessible using Uber.

We really liked the apartment — it’s very spacious and well-equipped for both short and long stays. We were pleasantly surprised to find a pool table and darts. The owners were always in touch on WhatsApp and responded quickly.
