Veronique was the perfect hostess and her Yorkshire terrier the perfect old grand guard dog. The decor was Magnifique. A gem of of an old Chateaux brought into contemporary living. Warm as toast in the cold winter months. And massive massive bedroom suit. Fantastic.

We loved our stay here! Right in the heart of the Old Town. The studio apartment was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The host was amazing! She spent so much time with us, showing us what to see and do and the best places to eat.

Room view was excellent, very clean and comfortable overall. What I didn’t expect was the level of service from all staff, but especially the concierge. Francois and Julien were the most excellent concierge I’ve ever come across. Will stay in Villa Maia again when I go back Lyon just for the concierge team.

The house was beautifully decorated. It was spacious. Everything was well-equipped, especially in the kitchen. We felt right at home. Having a small balcony was also very nice. We were able to enjoy tea on it in the evenings.
