The location was well placed for us, and it was easy to jump on the main tram. I cannot emphasize this enough. We should have stayed more nights. For the same price as some central accomodations you get to sleep on a boat. Cleanliness was top notch, and everything on the ship was well put together and design wise spoke to each other. Staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast area is beautiful. The bathroom looks amazing. You will not see such tiling in real buildings.

Such a wonderful place!! Eric at the reception gave me a warm welcome and showed me around the place and even helped carry my bags up two floors, Lukas and Silvia too were so helpful with anything that I needed and so friendly, The place is spic and span. And you can always go to the kitchen and help yourself to tea, coffee, milk, bread, cornflakes, etc. The bus stop is just outside and the Coop too. Walking distance to landmarks like the Royal Yacht Britannia, Leith waterside, etc. The name befits the place - I truly felt I had visited my friend's house!!

We were extremely satisfied. Hotel is very clean, comfortable, staff is professional and breakfast is excellent. It also has parking for hotel guests. Close to hotel is the one of the best fish restaurants. Location with a many old buildings is heartbreathtaking. Tram station is a few minutes by walk and the royal ship Britannia is situated one tram station away. Also ideal for going to Murrayfield stadium because of direct tram connection.
