The owner was very helpful- calling a taxi, giving recommendations about a restaurant close by with great curries, and best of all greeting me with a hot cup of tea served in a classic cup and saucer with a biscuit. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean.

Oakwood is family-run, 25 minutes to central London by train and just over 5 minutes' drive to Heathrow Airport.

Pleasant host who was able to provide us with information about several nearby restaurants. We ate at the Greek restaurant next door which had a lovely area to eat out back. Although the B&B room was right on the main street, it was quite quiet. A great, home-cooked breakfast was provided. We caught a local bus almost right out the door to Heathrow airport which was very convenient and inexpensive.

Perfectly located a few minutes drive from Heathrow Airport with very good private parking behind the hotel. Very, very friendly staff at the reception and very clean rooms. We would seriously recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to stay a night or so before travelling from Heathrow or after arriving. Supermarkets, restaurants and pubs are in walking distance.

Perfect location. Quiet neighbourhood. Idéal to have car parked in front of the house. Warm welcome from the owner. Fully equipped room with à desk/table to either eat and/or work. Even à microwave in the confortable bedroom.Spotless bathroom. I keep the address and shall return. Highly recommended.
