It was not in my plan to book this hotel, but I was very surprised that this hotel provides you with clean and new facilities & rooms, compared to the charge. Also, staffs were very kind and they tried to serve. especially I was surprised with a staff ( she was young and she finished Scottish graduate school recently) in the bar, providing me with beers/alcohols very quickly. Moreover she gently treated some drunken customers (old men). Unfortunately I cannot remember her meaningful name in India, but I would like to praise her competent skills and how she treated drunken customers.

Wonderful. Met by Paul for breakfast and he was a pleasure to talk with. He shared about the family of swans that came to eat each morning. He went above and beyond expectations by assisting us to get documents to get an emergency passport! Also, the evening gal at the desk was very helpful too. We loved sitting by the fire with a drink in the evening.

If you are looking for a generic, square, characterless place to stay then look else where. From the moment we arrived it felt more like visiting old friends - the owners are warm friendly and unbelievably helpful and attentive. Having spoken to them before hand they helped me to plan a surprise weekend away for my wife for our anniversary. The owners recommend a place to eat and made our room extra special with on arrival with rose petals in bath and a bottle of bubble ( very unexpected ) on ice. They even helped with dropping a surprise hamper into our room when we where out. The proper home cooked breakfast and fresh milk in the bedroom for tea and coffee along side quality toiletries make u feel like you are staying in a high end property but with the relaxed nature of a family home.
