Everything was simply excellent. The staff was kind, pleasant, and welcoming. The room was huge, with a private balcony and direct access to a shared pool. The view from the place is stunning, and there’s a private path leading to the sea. Breakfast was rich and varied, and the hotel’s restaurant was the highlight of our trip. The best restaurant we ate at! Everything was fresh, the portion sizes were perfect, and the prices were great. Without a doubt, they’re doing an excellent job.

The bed was superb and all the amenities that were in the bedroom. The pool was great and the breakfast service was excellent.

It was a wonderful vacation, in which I had the kindness, warmth and respect, through small gifts of local products, from the doctor - the owner. I liked that the linen is clean and changed every 2 days. The pool is wonderful and clean. In the end, we left the view over the bay, which is special both from the rooms and from the balcony. You must have a car, so that it will be easier to get to the villa, because it climbs steeply up the hill for about 500 m, but it is very nice for the panic feelings of falling into the void that you have from the car.

This is a great hotel right on the very best spot in one of the top-3 towns in Crete. We are an American couple in our 60s traveling in Crete via rental car for a month and we booked 3 nights here and ended up staying a week. I got to know the entire staff because they were so amazing and caring - the owner, his family, manager, the wonderful breakfast chef and the amazing young lady who is a student and runs the breakfast service every morning. Anyway, they are incredibly nice and hard-working, and the hotel rooms are fantastic. This hotel is new and very nice. That makes a big difference. The views from the bar, rooftop deck and rooms facing the sea are spectacular - literally 20 feet from the water overlooking the entire harbor and views across the famous Gulf. The breakfast is amazing, and the chef turns out different vegetable dishes, pastries, omelets and salads every morning. It is rare for us to stay in the heart of old towns because we have a rental car and we usually stay at larger hotels on the edge of the old towns so we can park and drive in and out of town as a base, but here the parking is free and easy because the hotel has an agreement with the port parking lot 50 meters away. We parked there free and easy every late afternoon for a week as we returned to the hotel in our car from touring around the Lashiti mountains and the many incredible villages, mountain and coastal drives, monasteries and amazing archeological sites. It is a spectacular part of Crete and all easily accessible from this hotel as a base. In fact, the manager, who is from Agios Nikolaus and knows every inch of the Lasithi Province, gave us great touring advice on scenic drives and where to go, which is why we based there a week. To top it off, we tried 6 of the restaurants she and the owner recommended - all fantastic because Agios Nikolaus has great restaurants. The internet is very fast - about 100 Mbps and the new smart TVs have Netflix and Amazon Prime. Fantastic!

The extent the staff went to to make our stay so enjoyable was excellent. Ritsa the office manager contacted me before we left England to ask if we needed dinner when we arrived as it was late. It was gorgeous. She also arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. In all the years I've been on holidays I have never felt so emotional leaving as it was a fantastic break for myself and my husband.

We liked everything about this apartment. It was self check in. It was very clean and comfortable. Fully renovated and fully equipped. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need including salt, oil, coffee so that you do not need to buy everything if you plan to use it. It’s really nice when a place is advertised with kitchen amenities and is indeed usable without anything missing. It also felt very private. We think it’s the concept of these accommodations because the people we met who worked there were very discreet as well. The girl who takes care of the place was very sweet and kind and does a great job with the rooms. We only chatted on the phone with the owner but he seemed very service minded and nice. We managed most of the days to find parking just outside of the apartment.
