The room is on the small side but the bed is super comfy, the shower was great and the staff were extremely helpful. I booked East Residences for a night for me and my partner's anniversary. I called in advanced and the staff were kind enough to inform me that they can provide us with complimentary wine, but did let us know that they are more of a residential accomodation and not a hotel, meaning they were slightly more limited as to what they can provide. At first my room had a couple of (unprecedented issues) like late check in, TV not working, and the residences not having ice to delivery to our room which you have to purchase from a nearby supermarket. My partner and I were hoping to make cocktails together and watch Netflix together. I was a bit concerned about our experience, but the staff were so incredibly kind with their willingness to address my issues, which I think is the most important of all. They immediately called me to arrange a room upgrade for our special night, and went out of their way to provide us with ice and even a complimentary souflet despite not being all that equiped as a residential building. Even though I didn't expect it, I still appreciated how genuine and caring all staff were to make our anniversary extra special. For this reason I can't recommend East Residences enough! We had the most magical night. Special thanks to Wilfred, Matthew, and Celia!
