promptness of staff, the amenities are excellent, room size was great... the bed was the best! I had a very restful sleep despite the hectic schedule!

Super beautiful views, very quite and just few minutes from the city center in motorbike, or 20 min walk. Has a supermarket just in the door which is really helpful. The owner is so much fun!

The place is amazing, it's like a piece of heaven. I don't regret putting my money in it. If you are looking for comfort, I advise you. The staff is good, the people are kind, the manager is great, and the hotel's ideas are out of the box. Also, everything in the room is very developed, modern, civilized, very clean, and beautiful. I want to return to this place on every vacation. I fell in love with the place.

I enjoyed my stay from the first minute to the last one! We came 3 hours before check-in time and they did let us go to our room with no extra charges! They offered welcome refreshment drinks and delivered our heavy luggage to the room. I was supprised by the inner garden of the hotel. I could jump into the pool right from my room. In the room, I found all necessary appliances including socket adaptors and mosquito repellent. All breakfasts I tried ware excellent! Exceptionally I want to thank my host Ms Septia for her attention and services!

Literally everything. The room was exceptionally clean, the pool at the villa was made warm on request, food at the restaurant was amazing, territory is tidy and very green.

Villa Sabandari is simply superb in every way. The gardens, pool, outlook and rooms are all gorgeous in their design and upkeep. We particularly appreciated how thoughtfully things had been set up - placement of loungers for a perfect mix of shade/sun, the sarongs and umbrellas in each villa, the cleanliness, mosquito nets over the bed (though we didn't need it) healthy snacks from the kitchen, comfortable outdoor furniture on each villa's terrace. Staff lit a mosquito coil (artistically hidden) outside each villa every evening to ensure we were comfortable (we were!). The afternoon teas and breakfasts were amazing. The owner and staff are lovely people. That some staff have been there many years tells you it's a well-run and respectful workplace (which matters to us). Staff and owner were always available to help us with arrangements, directions, drop-offs and pick-ups. I got sick with "Bali belly" (from food eaten elsewhere) and they made it easy for us to stay on an extra few nights, and even delivered bowls of plain rice to help me recover. Finally - and this always matters to me - the bed was incredibly comfortable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stunning property with the nicest staff ever!

We really, really enjoyed everything here. The promotional pictures of the hotel and the rooms are the same as everything seen, and truly what you see is what you get, this resort is like heaven. The resort is private and luxurious, and there are only 22 villas in the entire resort. Everything in your room, such as the pool and balcony, cannot be seen from the outside or from other rooms. With very few rooms, the whole resort is not crowded, and there is a huge public infinity pool with a great view that is not even used. This makes sense, though, as each villa has its own private pool, which is not very large but deep enough. The hotel breakfast is a la carte system, there are many kinds to choose from and the taste is very good. On the first morning of our stay, because we did not know much about it, we ordered a lot of food, but there was still no waste. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the Ubud Center, which is ideal for shopping and dining at the bazaar. The hotel also offers a shuttle to another kayon hotel, kayon jungle resort, which offers free access to amazing pool even if you're staying in the kayon valley. The staff at the resort were impressive, friendly, sincere and welcoming, and there was a smile on everyone's face. On the shuttle from kayon jungle back to the hotel during our stay, we wanted to stop by the convenience store so we could pick up a few things, and the driver even took us specifically to a larger convenience store so we could pick up what we needed. And I left my swim trunks at the kayon jungle resort, and the valley resort picked them up for me. All in all, my family and I love this place very much and I will definitely come back again in the future.

Cempaka was a really nice experience for us. It is situated slightly north of the busy center of Ubud, making it a great base for sightseeing. The room was stylish & cozy, and the view on the swimming pool was nice. The swimming pool itself was lovely too! A great place to come back to after a day trip or activity in Ubud center. The laundry service exceeded all expectations and the driver they recommended was really nice as well. We asked a lot of questions and learnt a lot during the drive. Pak Kadek was a splendid host. He was very considerate and helpful with all the questions we had. We had the luck that a special ceremony was taking place in the nearby temple while we were there. Pak Kadek brought us along and guided us through the experience and Ibu Niwayan made sure we dressed respectable & traditional. We feel very lucky and grateful for that experience and their hospitality. This place is definitely recommended! Lastly: ask accommodations and drivers directly instead of through platforms if you can. A driver can recommend an accommodation and vice versa. It makes a big difference for them and their community.
