Nextdoor Homestay is the perfect guesthouse for your Yogyakarta trip. The location is easy walking distance to so many points of interest and the decor of the guesthouse is adorable - special touches of plants and color everywhere. The breakfast was delicious and the most memorable part was the staff - Yuni and Lisa were so incredibly helpful in assisting us with booking all of our tours, transport, and recommending local restaurants. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet for good sleep. The staff was very friendly. They don't all speak English, but Google translate solved that! And the owner Rita was very pleasant and very helpful. Excellent value for the price!

Breakfast was exceptional, really elaborate and great selection. Room is outstanding even though I was next to a mosque I dont really hear the sound for call to prayer so it was good isolation. All things interior-wise were new and fresh so it was nice stay. Staff are all exceptionally friendly, fast response, extra mile and kind.

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy. The pool was lovely, and so were the staff. Especially Elvira who took the time to explain the area, and showed us the best spots to eat and explore. The team were very quick to help organise our tours at an affordable price and help sought drivers to aid us when getting to hard to reach areas.

Very welcoming staff (+give us tea and things to eat when we arrived or notice us chilling on our terrace). Terrace was beautiful (note that this was this specific room, maybe not all are the same), as well as the spot / swiming pool (very green, just like the photos). Breakfeast was worth it This stay was above expectations.
