The home owners were very friendly and welcoming. Room was in the attic, but we had our own bathroom so it was like a little suite. Beds were comfortable and clean, the room had a tv with Netflix which was nice before bed. Breakfast was home made and delicious! The owner had good recommendations for us to go on our day excursion, which led to a beautiful drive to Connemara national park. Parking was tight, but included in our stay, we were thankful!

With 45+ years experience staying at B&Bs this is everything I could hope for: a friendly welcome, an introduction to local sites, a comfortable room, a great breakfast, free parking, close to the city and even closer to good local craic. There was always a record on the turntable and the collection of vinyl is to die for.

Really good communication from the host. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotless and well stocked with essentials. Location is perfect near the end of the prom in Salthill. Ground floor apartment so easy to access and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.
The Nest Boutique Hostel offers a majority of double and twin ensuite rooms which have comfy beds, soft linen, power showers, fridges and contemporary Irish art work.

Loved the kitchen space and being able to sit for a home cooked meal. We happily bought ourselves a steak and served it with a salad.
The bedroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable.
Spotlessly clean shower and amenities. A beautiful old home that makes a lovely place for weary travellers to stop and enjoy Galway. Norman was a brilliant host.
