Really good communication from the host. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was spotless and well stocked with essentials. Location is perfect near the end of the prom in Salthill. Ground floor apartment so easy to access and plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

This is the cleanest hostal I ever stayed. ****CLEANEST**** The beds are comfy, large coverups, sockets in each bed, they provided a towel and even put a mint on top! They have clean bathrooms and rooms, and even a scented thingy in the room, which makes it even comfier. The shared spaces are beautifully designed with warm lights and clean spaces. Did I mentioned CLEAN? Loved this place <3

The lodge is located in the most lovely part of Galway which is Salthill! Very close to Pubs, restaurants and the promenade. Very silent bedroom, and the owner was very nice!

The hotel is ideally located between the buzz of Galway city and the relaxed seaside resort of Salthill.

I stayed at this hotel with my family (two adults and two children) for two nights. We had a great time because the staff was very kind to us, even though we weren't very good at speaking English. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, and plenty of it. The building appears new, and the room was clean and bright. The short distance from downtown Galway is more than compensated for by the ample free parking and the quiet location. It was a wonderful experience for the kids (and the adults too). Highly recommended.

Loved the kitchen space and being able to sit for a home cooked meal. We happily bought ourselves a steak and served it with a salad. The bedroom was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. Spotlessly clean shower and amenities. A beautiful old home that makes a lovely place for weary travellers to stop and enjoy Galway. Norman was a brilliant host.
