I stayed at New King Hotel in Paharganj for one night and honestly felt like I got way more value than what I paid for. The service and cleanliness gave me a five star hotel feeling, but at a much more affordable price, which was a pleasant surprise. The location is also a big plus. It is very close to New Delhi Railway Station and just a short ride away from Connaught Place, so moving around was super convenient. The room was neat, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout my stay. For the price, the experience was excellent. If you want something that feels premium without the high cost, this hotel is definitely worth considering. I would happily stay here again.

Restored but not overly which added to its charm. The breakfast was good, the room was a reasonable size with all you needed for your stay. Water, tea and coffee provided. Shower gel and body lotion in the lovely bathroom and plenty of hot water. The Operations manager Faisal was very kind and went out of his way to find a pharmacy for us and his restaurant recommendation was excellent. He was always on hand to help with a question or just to make sure we managed the stairs (We are quite elderly!) Then there was the Cultural museum in the haveli opposite where you could spend a day just reading and looking at the historical artefacts. We were even treated to a cultural show - a delightful way to spend a couple of hours. I have stayed in Delhi several times but if I ever return it will undoubtedly be here. We did not meet the owner who had the vision to save these two historic buildings but did have the pleasure of meeting his daughter-in-law Ashna who obviously is passionate about preserving the history of the buildings. A calm and hidden gem in the chaos that is Old Delhi

Danish was very kind and efficient. He helped us with a lot of things, and we were having many very interesting discussions with him. The room was clean, comfortable, very warmly decorated, and well-isolated from the chaos of Paharganj. We took the Old Delhi tour organized by Street Connections and it was absolutely amazing. Diya B&B immediately felt like home and we would definitely stay here again and again.
