I absolutely loved this property. It's beautiful and so thoughtfully maintained. You can clearly see the effort that goes into every detail, all curated with great taste. The hospitality here is just as impressive: the staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is exceptional with generous, scrumptious portions. I loved my stay in the Hostel Stories! It was a place where I could easily connect with other travellers and also with the people working there, it felt like a big family from the first second on. I really enjoyed spending time with All the people there 🥰 The manager even managed to give me a bed one day earlier cause I didn't feel comfortable where I was before, he was really helpful and compassionate! On top of that the beds are comfy and the facilities are modern. Thank you for everything. 🙏🏻🪷

Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Property ,especially rooms and bathrooms are very neat and clean, AC remote battery very weak so not able to adjust temperature, you can include tea/coffe along with breakfast, and Hot water is not available in the bathroom, appart from these concern, it's very good Property giving feel like Home

I stayed in the non-sea-view room at Shoonya and it felt truly luxurious — One specific detail I liked was their bed. The best part was the open-roof shower — showering under the sky was amazing. They don’t offer meals yet, but I’m excited to try their food when it starts. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay
