The host was such a nice guy. He went out of his way to make our stay stress free. He really is a gem. The apartment room we stayed was spotless and very modern. The bed is so comfortable. We also had Netflix which was excellent.

the b&b was located next to the old beautiful town. the rooms were clean and well equipped, breakfast was delicious (even gluten free versions of cakes were available!) and the staff was super friendly and helpful with our car renting!

There is just one word to describe La Pelliccia - charming! The apartment is charming, the street is charming and the location is charming. It's also just across the street from the Port of Bari. That turned out to be very convenient for me as I was sailing on the MSC Fantasia, and it literally took me 15 minutes to stroll from LP to my ship on embarkation day. Giovanna keeps the apartment spotless (and I am fussy). The location suited me perfectly - it was fun to wander around the maze of streets surrounding LP. Bari Vecchia (the old town) is beautiful. And LP is also only 15-20 walk from the main town of Bari. One thing to keep in mind is that you are staying in a residential area, and locals are living their lives - so it can be rather noisy at times. My suggestion is to take heavy duty | industrial strength ear plugs to sleep (the noise dies down around 10pm at night). It's a small price to pay for such charming accommodation.
