We felt so safe and cared for. Before we arrived, Marco sent us a complete guide on how to enter the building, unlock it and all the rest, for the self-check in. The building is not too far from the main train station, so we found it very easy to navigate the streets, even though this was our first time in Bologna (maybe I should mention that we got there on foot in less than 10 min). Our room, Camera San Marco (brown room), was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable (harder mattress, but not uncomfortably hard), as well as pillows. The best amenities were probably TV, which had Netflix and all the other streaming platforms for free, and Mini Bar which was also free and stock with foods and drinks. Our room was cleaned every day and we got a fresh set of towels each day and had the assortment of toiletries at our disposal. There was always hot water. Everything is so well organized and thought of. We highly recommend staying here. It's not in the very center of Bologna, but it is close. And it is great if you love seeing how people truly live outside of tourist area. We want to thank Marco for his hospitality. Though we never met in person, he left a good impression on us as a host who cares about his guests. If we ever decide to go to Bologna again, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

After a flight cancelation we had to stay in Bologna for the night, and we found this place. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable during our short stay in such a way that this unplanned stay felt like a treat. We had a very early flight the next day so we couldn't enjoy the breakfast, but they immediately offered to prepare breakfast the evening before so we wouldn't go hungry the next day. They also arranged the taxi reservation in the early hours. The place itself was very comfortable and super clean, and there were complimentary snacks and coffee available. Located very close to the central station and just a few steps from the city center.

Clean, renovated. 5 mins from the main station, walking distance (15 mins) from the main square. The breakfast was very Italian - I mean great taste but not huge buffet as in the hotels - a selection of one dulce, one salata and a coffee or tea.
