Small hotel, practically situated on the fringe of Sassi Caveoso and therefore easy to park the car. Our room was quite spacious. Breakfast is served on a nicely situated terrace with stunning view of the town. Great for aperitif in the evening. For dinner, I heartily recommend Soul Kitchen, exceptional Ribeye (Podolica) and Pannacotta with orange infused olive oil. Make sure you take a guided walking tour to really get to know Matera.

It was just about perfect. Room was beautiful, location, right in the Sassi, is wonderful. Breakfast is included and was very good. The staff went out of their way to help us. One of them spoke very good English.
