The quiet serenity of this former Horse stable envelopes you as soon as you step off the busy street. Everything is both elegant and home-y at the same time, the welcoming staff simultaneously knowledgeable, warm, yet also quietly unobtrusive. A very rare combo. We got the room with sloping ceilings and sky light but my favorite favourite bit about this place is the multiple gardens and terrace spaces - 3 separate large gardens for what is essentially a tiny boutique hotel. The big garden at the back has that all important quality of being slightly overgrown - with ripe grapefruit and fig trees. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay here.

This B&B is in a great location - on Via Maqueda which is car-free. I enjoyed many a passeggiate along here: great spots for street food, bars, restaurants and just feeling the vibe. The b&b is in a rustic palazzo, full of character but inside the gate of the b&b itself it has all the modern facilities to ensure your comfort. Being a family run b&b, it was warm and friendly and the enjoyment of the lovely breakfast was added to by the convivial nature of the dining room. The location is very central, only 10 minutes' walk from the station but near to all the main monuments, galleries and museums. You can spend days here just wandering around discovering the real Palermo, or in fact the real Italy.
