We had booked a single night in a standard room at Hotel Damaso. When we arrived we were informed that the Hotel had upgraded us to the Penthouse-suite. What a pleasant surprise! The private terrace with a stunning view overlooking most of central Rome was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar is absolutely worth a visit, and the breakfast was also very good.
No wonder this hotel has such good reviews. Our stay was phenomenal. 10/10!

The bed was so comfortable, exactly what you need after hours walking and exploring. And although the place is very central for sightseeing it's also very quiet at night. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
