AQUILA D'ORO TRIESTE is truly exceptional, a gem of a place conveniently located close to the train station, and also not far from the centre and Canal Grande.
To get in was very easy for me, since I met the manager at the door when I was wondering about how to get in. And: if arriving outside normal hours check in time will have to be agreed upon.
No breakfast.
That I was given a farewell gift, a necklace, was an unexpected bonus.
